1/100 survey of the façades of the street, intersections and adjacent streets was done using digital photography. The utilities networks were also identified and surveyed. This study will be used as a basis for proposing approaches for development of the public space as well as for proposals for the content of a charter on frontage enhancement and renovation work to be done on the oldest buildings. The study also included a survey of the functions served by the buildings, the number of families living in them, the number of jobs connected thereto and the number of motorcycles. All such information was needed to paint as accurate a picture as possible of the socio-economic role of the street.
