At the request of the Ministry of Construction and with support from the Embassy of France (Service de coopération et d’action culturelle/Cooperation and Cultural Affairs Department - SCAC), in 2004 IMV stepped in to provide crucial assistance for drawing up the Hanoi region area master plan (involving 8 provinces), which was approved by the prime minister in May 2008.
